INGREDIENTS
HUMMUS
1 + 1/2 cup cooked lentils
2 medium beets
1 clove garlic, peeled
4 tbsp tahini paste
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice and zest of two lemons
1 tsp Himalayan Crystal salt
Basil leaves or other fresh herbs, for garnish
METHOD
Wash, peel and roast the beets on 180 C for 20 min.
Once cool, add with all remaining ingredients in a food processor until smooth and season to taste.
