INGREDIENTS
BIRCHER MUESLI
1 cup steel-cut oats
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or other milk of choice
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp honey
METHOD
Add oats, milk, chia seeds, spices, vanilla and honey to glass jar and stir contents together. Secure lid and refrigerate overnight.
The following morning, place oat mixture into serving bowls and top with additional milk or yogourt.
If you prefer a warm porridge- style, simply melt 1 tsp of butter in saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir regularly, for 1 minute and serve warm.
